I've been playing spelunky again. I also beat the current alpha version of dungeons of the endless. Looking for a good action RPG atm. Maybe I'll replay Dragon's Dogma

I gave up on spaceman again. Idk I just don't have fun with it as much anymore. I still dream of the day when goonstation stops being a bunch of faggots and release their code so someone can take the best parts of electronics and mining and add it to tg. also I'd like a server with xeno archaelogy.

xeno arch is cool but i want it to actually have benefits that werent just fluff

I guess. I didn't mind it being mainly fluff because i enjoy RP jobs, and while a lot of it was fluff you could find guns and shit too. I feel like if they make it so that you can turn in artifacts for points to requisition stuff. like every bomb you turn in, every artifact you turn in and stuff gives you points to assist in increase research or something. I wouldn't mind their actually being a money system like goon has, but like not having a wage or having it be low so some jobs (mining, xeno arc, bomb building, xeno bio) can turn in their stuff for points to help the station or sell them to get illicit stuff. Hell, maybe it could improve on the traitor metagame? I dunno, what do you guys think?

spaceman is kill

I am sick of spaceman in general though. The biggest issues boil down to stagnation of the game and the putrid communities surrounding every station. It's frustrating to see ERPers and Metagaming faggots not only get unbanned consistently but also get put into positions of power. Not only that but the game is just getting dull. How many times do you run the same gimmick before getting bored or the round ends in 15 minutes because no one set up the engine?

I'd say I was interested in the "new" SS13 games being made but they're either never going to be finished, or more likely will never actually be any good. It's a silly round type wizard can be a lot of fun and the fact both major remakes are excluding it is stupid. They're like trying to make it less silly which defeats the entire point of the game. But that's just my opinion.

Also, trying to play dwarf fortress again but I'm too anxious to actually play it.

What are the two remakes?

Yeah that's it. Centration, as I recall, is being made by the guy who made the original BYOND game, IE when it was an atmospherics simulator. His big claim to fame is being a huge baby and an over controlling weirdo who hates that SS13 split the way it did and will never allow modding.

Spacestation13 is being made by the goonstation people so imagine epic memes, no fun and "limited moddability" which means don't expect anything but the base game.

I'm going to make Space Station 13 into a third person over the shoulder game. But it will have the same instability and lag that byond has plus my rampant desire to ruin everything about spaceman. Also there will be a single player mode where you meet the captain and watch him die as antags flood the station. There will be level up system where you select your job + specialization but you can switch them on the fly like final fantasy jobs so say youre the chief engineer but you need to do some sick medical stuff. bam, youre a medical doctor. Melee combat has been reworked to accommodate fifteen styles of self defense. It's gonna be epic
