The Unchained must take extreme care as they search for Hell. They are pursued by a faceless, vastly powerful entity that has unlimited time and resources, and they have already fallen once.

okay so remember the malkavian mansion from bloodlines? he lived for like 300 years as a malkavian without knowing what vampires were and he was totally sane. then he got introduced to the camarilla and he went insane. whhy

he was always insane it just manifested in his weird obsession in finding out his deal, the madness network just went into overdrive once he started hanging out with vampires since theyre all full of lies and shit more so than regular people.

also the fact that bloodlines takes place a few weeks before Gehenna, Malkov was probably stirring in his sleep which was making most of the malkavians even crazier than usual
